A Walker & Hall silver double inkstand with pierced gallery sides. Cast and applied ornate feet.

The two pierced and silver screw and nut mounted bottle holders contain the original hobnail cut glass ink bottles both with silver mounts, hinge opening polished silver lids with pierced borders. Positioned in front, a cast and silver screw and nut mounted pen rest complete with silver fountain pen. The tray and all mounts are fully hallmarked Sheffield 1936 W & H (Walker & Hall).

The pen Sheffield 1997 RC (Ron Carr) Carr's of Sheffield. H 8.5cm D 16.5cm. Bottles: H W D 5cm. Inkstand: 1065g / 34.24 troy oz. The set is all in original condition. The tray is superb, fittings in tact and appear secure, the silver is clean and bright, hallmarks clear. The glass bottles, having only a minor nibble or two, are very clear and clean.
