Antique Pair Egyptian Revival / Grand Tour Sterling Silver Sphinx Walker & Hall. This is an impressive pair of either extrememly rare or unique sterling silver Egyptian revival sphinx, hallmarked for Walker & Hall, Sheffield with no date letter, circa 1910. Both sphinx have an armorial type shield on the front of the chest so possibly they were a special commission. CONDITION one has a split to the headdress & a dent to a rear knee - as per images.

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.
