Sterling Silver Antique Walker & Hall Dressing Table Brushes & Mirror Set 1901

  

Gorgeous sterling silver 2 x clothes brush, 2 x hairbrush, comb and mirror set. The sterling silver brushes have horse hair bristles.

This set has a bespoke box, which shows general wear and tear, please see photos for details. This set is in antique condition, most of the set is fairly good condition but the comb is missing teeth. Please see photos for details. The set has matching hallmarks showing the date mark'i' for 1901 and the makers mark for Walker & Hall. There are initials engraved on each piece which in our opinion read'MJ. All the pieces are fully hallmarked with the crown for Sheffield assay office, the lion passant for sterling silver, the date letter'i' for the year 1901and the makers mark'W&H' for Walker and Hall. DIMENSIONS: The hairbrushes are 247mm long and 86mm wide approx. The clothes brushes are 183mm long and 43mm wide approx. The mirror is 267mm long and 18mm wide approx. The comb is 204mm long and 41mm wide approx. The hairbrushes are 213 grams each approx. The clothes brushes are 115 grams each approx.

The mirror is 370 grams approx. The comb is 31 grams approx.
