This is a very stylish set of butter or nut dishes. Made in solid sterling silver with cut glass crystal inserts, as can be seen with the Birmingham assay office hallmark for 1936 and the makers mark for Walker & Hall. The crystal are stamped by Edinburgh crystal. The pieces are in overall good condition for the age. They polish to a very nice shine as you can see, but do remember this is an antique set so do not expect it to look new.
The images also form part of the description. I would like to highlight that the cut glass liners are loose which would suggest they are replacements, but I'm highlighting so that you are aware. Esch dish measures approximately 15 cms from handle to handle, the crystal dishes are 9 cms in diameter and the silver holder diameter is 10 cms. The total weight of the silver is approximately 129g. This would make a lovely quality and unusual gift for someone, which can still be admired and enjoyed today.Any questions please do ask.
