Cased Pair Solid Sterling Silver Bon Bon Dishes, Bowls, Walker & Hall, 1936

  

This is a very stylish and nicely decorated set of footed comports, bon bon or sweetmeat dishes, round shaped with pierced decoration. Made in solid sterling silver, as can be seen with the Sheffield assay office hallmark for 1936 and the well renowned makers mark for Walker & Hall. They come with their original fitted presentation case. They are in overall great condition for the age and they polishes to a very nice shine as you can see, but do remember these are antique pieces so do not expect it to look new.

The case has some signs of wear with the lid spring broke, as shown. The images also form part of the description. Each dish measures approximately 10 cms in diameter and 5.5 cms in height. The total weight of the set is approximately108g.
