ANTIQUE - Sterling Silver - Martin Hall & Co Art Deco Photo / Picture Frame 1921. An unusual, fancy aperture curved top design photo or picture frame. Made by the firm of Martin Hall & Co, this frame has a rectangular aperture, with the curved top and circular internal aperture decoration.

The silver wraps neatly around the sides, hiding the original oak back. This fine silver frame is made of sheet sterling silver. A high quality piece where the frame rests on the silver at the front. Please see above for quantity available. 925 sterling silver, Birmingham hallmark, 1921.

Size: Aperture is 8" (20 cm) by 5 1/2" (14.5 cm), external dimensions 8 3/4" (22 cm) by 6 1/4" (16 cm) (across the feet). Condition: Frame is in excellent condition, the oak wood back and struct has been freshly waxed and polished, and the silk replaced. The back and silver frame is a little loose, so we have included a thin sheet of foam that would stay between picture and oak back to make it more stable. The glass is a replacement. Silver in excellent order, commensurate with age and use. Please note that this frame is over 100 years old! We specialise in quality named silver, flatware and crystal.
