1945 Sterling Silver Set 5 Teaspoons Newcastle Riffle Club 94.7g Walker & Hall
Set of Five Tea Spoons. This is a wonderful set of 5 spoons set in sterling silver. The spoons have a nice elegant simple design with the logo for "City of Newcastle Riffle Club" on the handle. One of the spoons has a full British hallmark dating it to 1945, the other spoons aren't hallmarked but we have acid tested them to confirm that they are silver. A lovely piece of history!
There is a full hallmark on one of the spoons showing the'Crown' of the Sheffield Assay Office, the'Lion Passant for Sterling Silver, the date letter'C' for 1945 and makers mark'W&H' for Walker & Hall. We have acid tested the other 4 spoons to confirm they are silver. The length of the spoons is 124.1 mm Approx. The width of the spoons is 24.6 mm Approx.
